Equipment for food industry

The Microwave Flow Sterilizer EnbioJet HPM was made for enterprises which intend to use a renowned and efficient thermal method in the pasteurization and sterilization processes, ensuring reliability and faultlessness, at the same time maintaining high quality of product parameters.

Thanks to the patented Direct Energy Transfer (DET) technology which enables to instantly and directly supply energy to a flowing substance, we have managed to solve the problem of maintaining the highest quality standards and parameters of substances undergoing heat treatment, to reduce the process time to only seconds, and to eliminate the undesired effect of substance adhesion to exchanger walls.

The EnbioJet HPM sterilizer combines within all the unquestionable benefits of the UHT method, while meeting and maintaining the highest quality requirements and parameters of the pasteurized substances.

Traditional pasteurization methods take plenty of time and energy because they not only require large heating surfaces of exchangers, but also intermediate media, such as steam or hot water. Starting up a line in traditional pasteurization methods takes a long time and energy necessary to heat up or obtain an intermediate medium. In case of microwave technology, energy is supplied directly to water particles without contacting any heating element, which means that it is spent only when it is needed to heat up the product.

The heating part of the equipment consists of a short section of a smooth pipe - therefore, it does not practically offer any resistance to the product. The pipe is made of teflon (PTFE) which is characterized by the lowest adhesion factor. During the pasteurization process, the substance does not adhere to its walls, which is a guarantee of maintaining a clean system. As energy is transferred using microwaves, the heating system has minimum inertia, and is ready to operate virtually immediately after being activated.

Using membrane-free microwave energy transfer eliminates the problem of thermal decomposition, losses of substance quality and parameters on hot walls of the exchanger. A high quantity of energy is instantly supplied directly to the flowing substance, heating it in its entire volume and mass in a very short section of the process pipe. Due to that, the substance exposure time was reduced to the essential minimum.

What is very important, product thickness, viscosity, or homogeneity is not of major importance in the technology. That solution works perfectly in sterilization processes of juices, concentrates, syrups, purees, and thick masses.

Basic component is the HPM heating module consisting of a resonance chamber with magnetrons. The chamber is equipped with a PTFE (Teflon) tube with special fastening providing hydraulic and electromagnetic tightness. Simplicity and small dimensions of the modules enable to adjust them to the type of media, performance, heating power, etc.

Regardless of a quantity and type of heating modules - they are operated by an automatic control system ensuring very precise control of process parameters.
