Microwave principle of operation

Because of microwaves, a single molecule vibrates with the electromagnetic (e-m) field frequency. Since microwaves penetrate the entire medium, each molecule vibrates very fast in the entire volume, i.e. the e-m field energy is instantly converted into heat.
